Another solid game on both sides of the ball, as the Diamondbacks extended their unbeaten streak to seven - on the heels of that eight-game losing streak. Of course, having been stoic in our mantra that “it’s just spring training” during the latter, we should be consistent and say the same thing about the current success. However, winning meaningless pre-season contests is still considerably more fun than losing them. The D-backs’ offense has scored a total of 55 runs over those seven games, but the pitching has also improved, which is good to see.
