You might think that with Patrick Corbin on the mound for 7 innings, finishing with a line of 9K, 1BB, 4H and 2ER, we’d have a good shot of winning. You also might think that it would look good for us if we outhit the lowly Giants, and that if our leadoff batters reached in the each of the first three innings, our chances would be even better.
Sadly, tonight, you would be wrong.
Patrick only had one blemish of an inning, giving up a single and a home run in the 2nd, but that was all the Giants needed.
