With his club’s spending power exceeding $30 million this offseason, Diamondbacks CEO Derrick Hall said Thursday he doesn’t expect the club to dedicate a large portion to one player in free agency.
"There's a lot of areas we still need to address," Hall told reporters during the club's annual Winter Classic Holiday Party charity event. "Would we put it all in on one big free agent? Doubtful. We’re probably going to look at multiple guys we need to bring in to compete and figure into this Opening Day roster.
