PHOENIX -- The D-backs activated left-handed reliever Jorge De La Rosa from the 10-day disabled list Thursday and optioned right-hander Silvino Bracho to Triple-A Reno.
De La Rosa had been on the DL since suffering right Achilles tendon bursitis during his June 1 outing against the Marlins.
Bracho has pitched well in multiple stints with the D-backs, going 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA in 11 games.
While Bracho's performance did not warrant the demotion, the fact that he had Minor League options remaining made him vulnerable.
