The Arizona Diamondbacks employ a first baseman that is having a tremendous 2015 season. Not, it is not Paul Goldschmidt. Kevin Cron of the Visalia Rawhide in the California League is having a big season and should be moving up the farm system to Double A Mobile in 2016. He was named the D’backs’ Minor League Player of the Month for June.
As of today, the 22-year old Cron is second in the California League in RBI’s with 70 and third in home runs with 18.
