Patrick Corbin made his second rehab start, this time for Mobile, and things went considerably better than the first, though still with room for improvement. He breezed through the first 3 innings allowing a couple of harmless singles. In the 4th he gave up a leadoff single followed by a 2-run homer before striking out 2 of the next 3 hitters. In the 5th following a flyout he surrendered back-to-back singles but got an out on the second when Gabriel Guerrero threw the runner out at third. He then hit the next batter and was relieved by Jimmie Sherfy who got the final out to limit the damage.
