Bo Takahashi, one of our less-heralded prospects, is off to a nice start this season for Kane County. Signed out of Brazil a few years ago Takahashi tossed 6 shutout innings last night on 2 hits with 8 strikeouts. He's actually bounced back and forth a little between Visalia and KC and on the season has thrown 19 innings giving up just 12 hits and 3 walks with 19 strikeouts. He's not a big kid at 5-11, 180 but held his own in the tough Pioneer League last which is every bit as bad as the PCL or the Cal League.
