The Texas Rangers returned to Chase Field Tuesday for the first time since the World Series, and they may have noticed a few upgrades. Almost immediately, they were introduced to their new DH. It was kind of an abrupt introduction as Pederson drove a ball 450 feet to put the Dbacks on the board first. Walker then followed with his first of 2 home runs in the game. A welcome sight as he had looked to be struggling with timing since coming off the IL.
Zac Gallen threw his second consecutive scoreless outing and was in complete control from the first pitch.
