DENVER -- This flight back to Phoenix will be far different than the last one for the D-backs.
When they returned from their last road trip, they did so carrying a 1-8 record and an offense that had lost its way.
After Sunday afternoon's 8-3 win over the Rockies at Coors Field, the D-backs head home having swept Colorado, and with a 4-2 mark on the road, which also included a stop in San Francisco.
Even more importantly, their offense, led by five-time All-Star first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, has been reignited.
