The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated infielder Jake Lamb from the 15-day disabled list (stress reaction in his left foot) and designated catcher/infielder Jordan Pacheco for assignment, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.
Lamb, 24, played in 3 rehab games with Triple-A Reno, going 4-for-11 (.364) with 1 double and 2 RBI. In 10 games with the D-backs prior to his injury, he was hitting .414 (12-for-29) with 3 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, 9 RBI and a 1.204 OPS. Pacheco, 29, batted .242 (16-for-66) with 2 home runs and 8 RBI in 29 games with the D-backs this season.
