PHOENIX -- When the Padres scored two runs just two batters into Saturday night's game, it was clear that the D-backs were going to need to have their offense cranking.
Boy, did they ever.
The D-backs set a franchise record for runs as they smacked five home runs as part of an 18-hit attack to beat the Padres, 20-5, at Chase Field.
Here's a partial look at some of the notable offensive accomplishments:
• The 20 runs eclipsed the previous franchise record, which was set May 17, 2014, when the D-backs beat the Dodgers, 18-7, at Chase Field.
