PHOENIX -- The D-backs rallied multiple times, but Brandon Belt's two-run home run off of Brad Boxberger in the 10th inning ultimately proved the difference, as they fell, 4-3, to the Giants on Wednesday night at Chase Field.
In the eighth inning, Jarrod Dyson hit an RBI triple off the center-field wall to get the D-backs on the board. Paul Goldschmidt led off the ninth with a double, before A.J. Pollock laced one of his own to tie the game. The D-backs, however, stranded Pollock with the game heading to extras.
