PHOENIX -- The Diamondbacks fell victim to another late-inning pinch-hit Colorado homer on Saturday.
Rockies pinch-hitter Tom Murphy hit a two-out tiebreaking homer in the eighth inning, and the D-backs were unable to hold another late lead in their 6-5 loss. Arizona dropped into third place in the NL West, a half-game behind the streaking Rockies.
The D-backs had things going their way early, staking right-hander Zack Godley to a 3-0 lead. Arizona scored those three early runs in the fourth, thanks to RBI singles by Steven Souza Jr.
