PHOENIX -- Daniel Descalso's two-run triple in the seventh helped propel the D-backs to a 4-3 win over the Dodgers on Tuesday night at Chase Field.
The win increased the first-place D-backs' lead to nine games over Los Angeles.
The Dodgers built a 3-2 lead behind ace Clayton Kershaw thanks in part to a two-run homer by Cody Bellinger in the third.
Kershaw exited the game after the sixth and the D-backs wasted little time jumping on reliever Adam Liberatore as Deven Marrero and John Ryan Murphy greeted him with back-to-back singles.
