PHOENIX -- The D-backs got a much-needed win Friday night as they rode a Paul Goldschmidt homer and another outstanding start from Patrick Corbin to a 5-3 victory over the Braves.
Like with everything these days when it comes to the D-backs, the win didn't come easy as the Braves put together a two-run rally in the eighth to make things interesting. But Brad Boxberger picked up his 32nd save to secure the win, as the D-backs picked up a game on the first-place Rockies and now trail Colorado by 1 1/2 games.
