You can’t blame Torey Lovullo for not being loyal. Throughout his time here in Arizona, he has consistently placed trust in his players, whether earned or not, to give him that little bit extra. Whether that’s a struggling starter fighting through a tough outing, or a batter with an obvious deficiency, he’ll continue to place that trust in his players to get the job done. It’s a fine line, but Torey needs to protect his players and team from obvious mistakes. Tonight, was another one of those mistakes that cost them the game.
