If you had told me before hand the D-backs would lose this game, I would not have been too surprised. For coming into this one, the D-backs looked to face an uphill struggle. As mentioned in the GDT intro, reigning Cy Young winner Blake Snell hadn’t lost a game since April and had a 1.30 ERA over his last ten starts. Considering how Merrill Kelly had struggled since coming off the injured list, it felt like this was going to be tough.
