Corbin's innings could be capped in 2016

In his first season back from Tommy John surgery, Patrick Corbin took the ball every fifth day, finished the year healthy and looked every bit like his old self on the mound. The year was, in many ways, exactly what the Diamondbacks wanted to see out of the left-hander.

“He’s got our expectations a lot higher than they were (before) this year,” pitching coach Mike Harkey said.

So much so that it’s reasonable to wonder what the Diamondbacks should expect to get out of Corbin in 2016, and whether they need to plan to avoid their own Matt Harvey-like situation this time next year.
