DENVER -- D-backs left-hander Patrick Corbin is scheduled to start Sunday against the Braves in Atlanta, but has told Major League Baseball that he would still be available to pitch in Tuesday's All-Star Game presented by MasterCard at 4:30 p.m. MST on FOX.
Corbin, along with first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, were two of the seven All-Star selections made by MLB. Other reserves and pitchers were selected by ballots cast by big league players, managers and coaches.
"If needed, he'll be available to pitch in the game," D-backs manager Torey Lovullo said. "I think we're OK with it.
