PHOENIX -- A day after returning to the starting lineup, D-backs catcher Welington Castillo was out again on Sunday against the Brewers.
Castillo, who had left hamstring tightness earlier in the week, now has a sore left elbow after he was hit by a pitch from Brewers starter Taylor Jungmann on Saturday. Castillo stayed in the game, his X-rays came back fine, but Sunday was a good opportunity to give him a day off and rest it, D-backs manager Chip Hale said.
"He's sore, I'm sure no more sore than he was [last night]," Hale said.
