Bud Selig remembers the first time he came to Arizona for spring training.
It was 1970, and Selig had purchased the bankrupt Seattle Pilots for $10.8 million, which is about the price of a decent first baseman these days. Selig moved the team to his hometown of Milwaukee, then joined them at Tempe Diablo Stadium for spring training.
