Burgos again slams door in D-Backs win

MIAMI – Diamondbacks rookie Enrique Burgos speaks in quiet, reserved tones, and he talked early on Tuesday afternoon about how much he enjoyed the chance to close out Monday night's win against the Miami Marlins. He described what he loves about closing games, how he hopes he gets more chances to do it.

Not only did he get another opportunity later that night, working a tense, but scoreless, ninth inning to preserve a 4-2 win at Marlins Park, he might get even more chances in the days ahead.

Firing his fastball up to 98 mph and getting a pair of strikeouts on hard, biting sliders, Burgos fits the traditional closer's mold, certainly more so than side-arming right-hander Brad Ziegler.
