It’s a pretty minor move, but then again not necessarily minuscule. Brandon Drury was called up from AA-level Mobile to AAA-level Reno. With Drury being a member of the Dbacks 40-man roster, it’s still a significant transaction. Drury will be hitting in the #2 slot in the batting lineup for Reno on Tuesday night.
Drury was drafted in the 13th round of the 2010 MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves. He was part of the Justin Upton trade that also saw the Dbacks receive Nick Ahmed and Randall Delgado from Atlanta.
