SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- D-backs right-hander Archie Bradley is trying to look at the big picture during Spring Training.
Despite being in competition for a spot in the starting rotation, Bradley has focused on the continued development of his changeup and has brought back a cut fastball he used a few years ago in the Arizona Fall League.
So while Bradley has a 17.47 ERA so far this spring, including six runs in 1 1/3 innings against the A's on Tuesday, he sees the positives.
"I was able to get work in," Bradley said. "The results -- the [high] pitch count, walking the first guy after getting ahead 1-2 -- is the stuff I want to get away from.
