Jency Solis is a 22-year old pitching prospect in the Diamondbacks organization. Like many in the Dominican Republic, he dreams of making it big in Major League Baseball. And this year, he is armed with a new weapon:
A high school degree.
“I know I won’t be starting from zero if something happens in my career,” Solis said through an interpreter.
