Benches cleared in the top of the fifth inning of Friday night’s Diamondbacks-Dodgers game, another incident in what is becoming a long list of feuds between the NL West rivals.
After bunting an inside pitch back to the mound, Dodgers pitcher Rich Hill yelled at Diamondbacks right-hander Archie Bradley on his way to first base. Bradley yelled back, and, just like that, both dugouts emptied at Chase Field.
Hill appeared to be upset at the location of the fastball he bunted; the pitch was way inside and would have hit Hill had he not put the bunt down.
