Success on the baseball field appears to have come out of nowhere for the Los Angeles Dodgers' Cody Bellinger.
But that's not the case.
Bellinger, who took MLB by storm with a NL rookie record 39 home runs in his first MLB regular season, has a long history of success on the diamond.
He even played in the Little League World Series, helping guide Chandler National Little League to the U.S. semifinals in 2007.
Bellinger, the son of former major leaguer Clay Bellinger, grew up around the game. His father coached him on that Little League World Series team.
