The Arizona Diamondbacks will open their 2017 Cactus League spring-training schedule with an exhibition game against Grand Canyon University.
The D-Backs in previous years hosted the University of Arizona (2016) and Arizona State (2015).
The D-Backs will play 33 spring training games in 2017, 18 of them at Salt River Fields, the Cactus League home they've shared with the Colorado Rockies since it opened in 2011.
