Less than 24 hours after Mike Hazen declared that he was not finished making moves, the Arizona Diamondbacks swiftly signed Randal Grichuk to a one-year, $2 million deal.
The ten-year veteran has played for four different teams since being drafted in the first round of the 2009 draft by the Los Angeles Angels.
Last season, split between his time with the Rockies and Angels, Grichuk posted a .267 batting average, hitting 16 home runs and 31 doubles in 118 games. During the first half of the 2023 season with the Colorado Rockies, he maintained a .
