The Arizona Diamondbacks signed four players to their Minor League organizations this week including one who has already spent time in the Majors. These type of signings are usually done with organizational depth in mind but who knows, perhaps we will all see them one day in Sedona Red (or teal if it is a Thursday home game).

The man with Major League experience is catcher Brett Hayes who has received 434 career plate appearances over six seasons. The 31-year old Hayes spent 2015 with the Cleveland Indians where he hit three home runs in 32 at-bats across 14 games.
