Living in Arizona means entertaining guests from colder climates in the spring. And however happy we are to see friends and family, there is a bit of guilty joy when the last visitor leaves and the house is your own again.
The Red Sox, Cubs and Yankees have all stopped by to see the Diamondbacks in recent weeks and were welcomed at Chase Field by crowds that cheered for them as if they were back home.
Now, they’re gone, and no one could blame the Diamondbacks for waving goodbye, shutting the door and thinking, “whew, glad that’s over.
