Not quite there yet, but with the weekend coming up, this otherwise probably would not get posted until Tuesday. And I’d likely forget. So let’s turn the dial back to the beginning of THIS month and see what we thought. It was a rough start to the season, with the D-backs beset by injuries before they even threw a pitch in anger. While Opening Day included a 14-run inning, the offense seemed to be in feast or famine mode, and the bullpen struggled to keep the lead. While the team certainly was not the only playoff side from last year to be struggling, and nor were they the worst - hello, Miami - it definitely was not the start which we wanted to see, as the D-backs looked to defend their first pennant since 2001.
