At the dawn of July, a couple of key players for the Arizona Diamondbacks are getting closer to re-joining the team. Per Steve Gilbert at mlb.com, we have updates on Ender Inciarte and Patrick Corbin with regards to their progress. One seems on track to join the D’backs before the All-Star break while the other should return soon after that.
Inciarte took batting practice and did some running before Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is scheduled for another session of batting practice this evening, another test for his injured hamstring.
