On Monday morning, the Arizona Diamondbacks charged season tickets holders the first installment of payments for the 2021 season.
By the MLB trade deadline at 1 p.m. that afternoon, the team had traded four of its more established players for mainly prospects and salary relief.
The moves, and the timing of them, did not sit well with some Diamondbacks season ticket holders and fans, who weren't afraid to voice their displeasure on social media and through other outlets.
One season ticket holder emailed The Arizona Republic the following: "Definitely one of the slimiest moves I've been a part of as a STH (season ticket holder) of any sport.
