When infielder Eduardo Escobar was traded the first time, from the Chicago White Sox to the Minnesota Twins nearly a decade ago, there were tears. At that point, the White Sox were the only team he had known.
Escobar said he handled it better the next time, when the Twins sent him to the Diamondbacks three years ago. The point Escobar was making on Tuesday afternoon, a day after his name began to surface in trade rumors, was that he was no stranger to trade rumors -- and that he knows how to keep his mind in the right place when they are swirling around.
