Arizona Diamondbacks – De La Rosa comes off DL, starts home stand opener

Right-hander Rubby De La Rosa of the Arizona Diamondbacks comes off the disabled list and returns to the rotation, the team announced Thursday.

De La Rosa will make the start against the San Francisco Giants on Friday night in Chase Field. A corresponding move will be made prior to first pitch.

At this point, De La Rosa’s work load is uncertain. Earlier this week and during the final leg of a road trip in Los Angeles, manager Chip Hale indicated De La Rosa may throw as much as 70 pitches. His health will determine the length.
