The Arizona Diamondbacks took care of some housekeeping earlier this week by tendering contracts to six players who are arbitration-eligible. Had they not done this bit of paperwork, each of these players could have become free agents depending on the snafu. The six are A.J. Pollock, Patrick Corbin, Welington Castillo, Rubby De La Rosa, Randall Delgado and Daniel Hudson. Hopefully, each of the players take the route of Matt Reynolds who avoided arbitration by singing a one-year deal with the team.
