Zack Godley worked through some very scary trouble early on - with the help of a couple of key Mets TOOTBLANs - and ended up with an unlikely quality start. He worked 6.2 innings, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks with eight strikeouts. Key for Zack was escaping without further damage from jams with men on second-and-third and no outs, in both the second and third. Andrew Chafin got four outs although Brad Boxberger had to come for the final out, due to Jorge De La Rosa and his error.
