Patrick Corbin picked the perfect season to have a career year. Captain Sully carved through the Philadelphia Phillies in the rubber match for 7 & 1⁄3 innings. He got off to a tremendous start in the first inning. After allowing a leadoff single to Cesar Hernandez, Corbin followed by striking out Rhys Hoskins and Nick Williams. Hernandez attempted to swipe second base during the Williams strikeout, but Alex Avila made a strong throw to second to complete the double play with the difficulty setting on All Star mode.
