Goldie started off the top of the 1st with a double to score David Peralta after his leadoff walk. The fun was abruptly ended in the second with a Jarrett Parker two-run home run. The Giants followed it up with a pair of additional runs in the 3rd, from a Hunter Pence single with the bases juiced making it 4 to 1. After a Daniel Descalso RBI single in the 4th helped bring it back to 4-2, Corbin again had a problematic inning and was unable to wriggle off the hook.
