Arizona Diamondbacks 10, Colorado Rockies 11

This bore all the signs of a slug-fest early, as the Rockies scored twice in the top of the first, only for the D-backs to respond with three in the bottom half. And so it proved. Arizona had leads of both 5-2 and 8-5, but weren’t able to put away Colorado. Neither starter had a good night, Robbie Ray allowed five runs on eight hits and a walk with two K’s over 5.1 innings, but left with the chance of a win as German Marquez was tagged for six runs in five.

With a three-run lead after six, Torey Lovullo turned to his A-bullpen, but Archie Bradley had the worst outing of his relief career.
