As rookie right-hander Archie Bradley’s innings continue to climb, the Diamondbacks are working through their options on how to handle him. They could limit him within his outings. They could skip starts. They could shut him down before the end of the season.
Bradley says he does not have all of the answers; he knows major-league teams don’t, either, when it comes to caring for young pitchers. But he does feel strongly about what he hopes the club does with him the rest of the year.
“Personally, I would love to keep pitching,” Bradley said. “I think this experience is very valuable for me.
