The Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Angels combined for 21 hits. Not many would guess there were that many hits based on the final score, but alas runners were stranded and pitchers pitched out of jams in a fantastic game between the two clubs Wednesday night.
Continuing his blazing streak of hitting, Paul Goldschmidt got the Diamondbacks on the board in the 1st with a solo shot of his own. It was his 19th home run on the season.
The excitement didn’t stop there either, as Yasmany Tomás legged out an incredible triple in the 3rd, much to the delight of the crowd.
