The management team of the Arizona Diamondbacks must read my work. Earlier this week, I advocated the return of Josh Collmenter to the bullpen as I felt that was the best role for him and for the team. Wouldn’t you know it, but that is now reality as Collmenter will not get the start on Saturday night in San Francisco. Allen Webster gets the nod as he will be called up from Triple A Reno per Steve Gilbert at mlb.com.
The move isn’t surprising given Collmenter’s struggles for pretty much the entire season.
