A Look Back at Cristian Mena’s Debut

Let’s start with my top-level view. There are three groups of prospects:

• Five players on the 40-man roster. That top group includes Cristian Mena.
• Four players that FanGraphs listed as a Diamondbacks top 16 prospect and that are aged 21 or 22 years old. I added recently drafted Ryan Waldschmidt to that group.
• Five players that FanGraphs listed as a Diamondbacks top 16 prospect and that are less than 21 years old. I added recently drafted Slade Caldwell to that group.
