The tall, lanky, lefty Blake Walston was once a first round draft pick (1-26) for the Dbacks out of high school in North Carolina. If you would have asked many of us myself included, projections were pretty high for the left hander largely because of his size, athleticism and ability to spin the breaking ball from the left side even as a high school kid.
