Introduction & 2023 review
Austin Adams’ major-league career is filled with injuries, causing a once solid option to need to sign minor-league deals in order to stay in the game. He’s dealt with almost everything - a flexor tendon surgery, ACL surgery, and multiple forearm and elbow strains throughout his six-year career. It’s part of the reason why the D-backs were able to sign him in the first place.
Coming off that flexor tendon surgery, Austin signed a minor-league deal with the D-backs in January and was sent to Reno after Spring Training, where he pitched well with the Aces - a 2.
