It’s getting to the point where, in practice, there is anxiety over every loose puck around the net. The Coyotes are well aware of their scoring issues, and it’s clear the team is trying to address it during on-ice sessions between games.
And yet, despite being shut out in three of their four games this season, the Coyotes are a top-five team in the NHL in both shots for and shots against. So why are they off to a disappointing 1-3 start to the season?
That seems to be the million-dollar question these days, and if there was a simple answer the Coyotes would have figured it out by now.
