The Arizona Coyotes on Thursday announced some roster moves, a day before players report to their AHL affiliate in Tucson for the start of Roadrunners training camp.
The team assigned 10 players back to their respective teams. Among them was this year's first round pick, Dylan Guenther, who shined in rookie games and scored in the team's first preseason game against the Los Angeles Kings on Monday.
Guenther returns to the Western Hockey League's Edmonton Oil Kings.
Seven players are headed to the Roadrunner for further development. Among them is forward Ben McCartney, one of the top performers in the Rookie Faceoff earlier this month who ended last season in Tucson.
