Arizona Coyotes head coach André Tourigny was among six coaches and players placed in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol on Monday, the team announced.
Goaltending coach Corey Schwab and goaltender Scott Wedgewood, defenseman Jakob Chychrun, defenseman Cam Dineen and defenseman Anton Stralman were also listed as being in the protocol. The Coyotes already are without another assistant coach, Mario Duhamel, and defenseman Kyle Capobianco, who are both out due to COVID issues.
Several Coyotes players have already gone through COVID protocol and have returned to the team, practicing and playing games. They were out for at least 10 days, but the NHL has since modified its protocol.
